BEIS-2021 is pleased to announce the Best Poster Award for the top poster submission sponsored by the publishing partner “Bioengineering: An Open access journal by MDPI”.

Bioengineering (ISSN 2306-5354; CODEN: BIOEBG) is an international scientific peer-reviewed open access journal on the science and technology of bioengineering published quarterly online by MDPI.
Open Access - free for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.
High visibility: Indexed in BIOSIS Previews (Web of Science), Inspec (IET) from Vol. 4 and in Scopus. Citations available in PubMed, full-text archived in PubMed Central.
Rapid publication: manuscripts are peer-reviewed and a first decision provided to authors approximately 14.4 days after submission; acceptance to publication is undertaken in 3.9 days (median values for papers published in this journal in the first half of 2019).

Eligibility Criteria
The conference will host a competitive poster session that will be attended by bioengineers. Students will give a 10-minute presentation of their poster, followed by 5 minutes of Q & A, to the judges, as well as attendees at-large.
In order to be eligible for a Best Abstract Award, candidates must be the presenting author of an accepted abstract, register and attend the Conference.
Award
The Best Abstract Award will be selected based on the following criteria:
Clarity of submitted abstract
- Importance of the work
- Novelty of the work
- Level of completion of the work
- Ability of the presenter to explain the work
- Poster Design
The successful candidate will receive the following:
- Certificate of appreciation and prize amount of 500-800 Swiss France by the sponsor Bioengineering - An open access journal by MDPI (Scopus indexed, covered in PubMed).
- The award winner will be announced during the closing session of the Conference.
